ISSTD is excited to announce of plenary speakers for our 2018 Annual Conference!
Robert Neimeyer, PhD is a world-renowned researcher, author and editor or co-editor of hundreds of publications, and psychotherapist with expertise in death and grieving, will discuss how to find meaning and resilience in the face of traumatic loss and grief.
Edward Tick, PhD is the author of War and the Soul and Warrior’s Return: Restoring the Soul after War, and innovator in the treatment of traumatized, post-combat veterans, will speak to combat trauma, dissociation and “restoring the soul” of the warrior.
Donna Hicks, PhD is the author Dignity, which explores how to apply this concept in organizational, national and international conflicts, will present on human dignity and its relationship to dissociation on a global level.
In addition to our three plenary speakers, the 2018 ISSTD Annual Conference will feature pre-conference workshops, panel presentations, symposiums, workshops, and paper sessions from leaders in the field of trauma and dissociation. Our preliminary program with the full list of conference presentations will be available in December 2017.
